The Montgomery County Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in locating a missing man from Silver Spring.
Derek Antonio Carney, 66, was last seen leaving his home in the 10800 block of Georgia Avenue around 9 a.m. on Wednesday, March 16, police said.
Carney is described as being 5'7," weighing approximately 180 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes and a scar on his nose. Police are unsure what Carney was last seen wearing.
Anyone with information is asked to call the police non-emergency number at 301-279-8000 (24-hour line) or the 4th District Investigative Section at 240-773-5545. Callers may remain anonymous.
